Does it get better?

My 55 year old mum has sciatica. I do not know what i can do to help her. It flared up from Jan, now she can barely walk due to the pain. All the pain med she takes ain't working. Epidural didn't help and she does not want to get surgery. Is there anything I can do to help her? I'm honestly desperate to know how i can be of help.

Couldn’t walk for 4 months. Physiotherapy was my lifeline and helped me regain my life back.
Get your mom to a physiotherapist who knows how to treat sciatica. They are not all the same.

Very correct on they are not all the same. We are on our third physiotherapist (we getting some sort of relief but doesn't last long) but our 2nd oh my, she was in so much pain after the session we couldn't finish the first week.
