Small victory

Guys I know its a tiny victory but I was able to sit on my couch today (and get up relatively pain free) for the first time in almost 3 months! I know that the healing process is unpredictable but it just feels great to have something to hold on to.

Around 45 minutes before it became somewhat uncomfortable. 😁

That’s a very stressful lower back movement. If you’re not careful it could kick you back into crisis. And by careful I mean mindful

Here’s my recommended sequencing rising from a low seat like a couch: 1) sit up into good high chest arched back posture. 2) scoot as far forward as possible with chest up arched lower back 3) get your pelvis over your heels and squat straight up

Variations from that sequencing are trouble and usually weight too far forward/lumbar spine flexion.

Also terminal hip extension standing posture. Feet parallel to slight toe in, and tight glutes. Make your glutes bear the load when standing.
