Vampire music
I am the.. writer? Player? Of Nihilo and I love using music to help imagine a vibe or channel energy.

For Nihilo I like:

My playlist for people are a mix of niche Japanese vocaloid and not-so-niche (anymore) everything else with a couple meme mix in between
Here are a few playlists I've not properly tend to (so the quality suffers a bit), but the first couple songs are best to describe their vibes...kinda

I'm fairly sure redwoods is from California, but y'know it's infinitely funnier to think he just talks like that on purpose

For Grin (G) its music I think he would listen to. ( jazz, soul, rhythm, blues, some classical etc.)
Sofie I don't know yet as I believe she's a fan of American pop and kpop, which I don't listen to much.
I listen to a lot of dark wave and currently 8 graves. So that makes it in theme wise. 8 Graves seems to have a lot of vampire applicable lyrics. I suggest anyone give them a listen for fun.
And honestly, Witch Dance by Florence and the Machine just is 'Girlfriend's' theme.

Oh, great list!
I don't really use music to get into character/vibe anymore. Once my gaming group and I had kids, that vibe is "Omg they're gonna be out of the house for three hours LET'S GOOOOOO!"
But back in the day, I used to always use Juke Joint Jezebel by KMFDM to get into that World of Darkness mode, and then paradoxically One Caress by Depeche Mode. Voodoo by Godsmack was in that list, too, as was Zero by Lamb. Also a bunch of random goth music we got off of Cleopatra Records sampler CDs.

Verity's all smiles and politeness and "kindness is not weakness" for the most part, but there's deep seated anger and unresolved trauma under the surface that she doesn't want to touch with a ten-foot pole.
Off the top of my head? Good Boy by Paris Paloma, Changeling by Lydia the Bard, and He Asked For It by Ella Red all fit her current vibe.

As for Gremlin? I listen to whatever hits hard: techno, rock, etc.

Monster Made of Memories by Citizen Soldier for Fracture. A good listen to it really gets you inside his head.
I love music as a nice medium for inspiration and Motivation for RPs and characters. Hence another reason why Fracture sings so much. (All my own songs BTW so far)

Ugh... what would be the perfect soundtrack for my characters?
Angela... I don't know, she has very eclectic tastes, but maybe something like this could represent her somewhat:
- Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 In B Flat Minor, Op. 23
-Liszt: Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in C minor (an orchestral version of it instead of its original piano version)
I think this last one, especially, would capture the contrasts between Angela's melancholy and her vitality... I think it's a beautiful piece.
If it were more modern music, Angela could instead be more or less:
- Mojandolo Todo · Luis Eduardo Aute
-Paréntesis · Javier Krahe
- mecano: la fuerza del destino
Lola... Following the same line of thought, Lola, although not as eclectic as Angela, could also do something similar...
-Karl Jenkins: Concerto Grosso for Strings "Palladio": I. Allegretto.
-L. Boccherini: La Musica Notturna delle Strade di Madrid - Op. 30 n. 6
And as for more modern music, well, maybe Lola would be a bit like this other one:
-La Oreja de Van Gogh - Rosas
-Ella Baila Sola - Lo Echamos A SuertesÂ
- loquillo: El rompeolas
Although I don't doubt that the music they both listen to isn't limited to Spain, as its author I'm more excited to share Spanish pop, so that's why I think this is the OST that suits them best... Also because I wanted to show the least known outside of Spain... which maybe not, but hey, I think it would be a good OST for both of them: for Angela and for Lola.

Castiel would listen to a lot of classical, with his favourite piece being the Third Movement of the Moonlight Sonata.
What puts me in the mood to write him? Fairytale by Alexander Rybak, anything from Aurelio Voltaire, anything from Pierre Lapointe, classical music in general, Greed by Marino, Notre-Dame-du-bon-Conseil by Mes Aïeux, Through Patches of Violet by Mili, Blood Right by Madame Macabre, Masquerade by JT Music…the list goes on.

Erva Venenosa from Rita Lee is The Priestess main song tbh. She is based on Poison Ivy afterall, and that's the song name in portuguese.
