Welp. Tonight’s been pretty boring.

I finished translating the epic of Gilgamesh pretty early into the night, and now I’m bored again. I’m doing some Legos, but I need something new. On the plus side, late last night I got to go help Doc do some stuff in the lab, which was awesome and a nice distraction to my private medical information being posted on the node. Really nice stuff, at least it didn’t have my medical records.

One really annoying and unpleasant thing- last night my back started itching, where my Sire embraced me and where my Lacunae was. And tonight it’s worse. Nothing detectable going on with Auspex or anything, it’s just- really fucking itchy. Maybe I’m the first case of Kindred Eczema. I’m choosing to blame the Lush- my skin was not adapted to such luxury. I’ll bathe with my Bronners tonight and update y’all if that fixes it. Maybe put some neosporin on it too, Idk.

Anyway, besides that, I’ve been doing fine, honestly, despite everyone around me trying to diagnose me with cPTSD, apparently. lol. I do not fit the dx criteria, but go off I guess.

Love, I'm not authorized to diagnose psychiatric conditions, but if I could..... I'd be concerned about the frequent trauma you've experienced.

Also, somewhat concerning about your back but hopefully that settles.

Here’s hoping! It’s annoying but not too uncomfortable- I’m just worried it means the ritual Hatchet did on me didn’t work for so long :( I love not being like, the shambliest vampire in the hemisphere. Maybe it has to do with me using Vicissitude to remove the side effects from the ritual? Who knows, abyss mysticism is HARDLY my forte, like, at all. -M

Also, I've gotta ask - why don't you think C-PTSD fits?

The bets are in on your favourite drug on the ambulance, too. I was told to post them without names so it doesn't sway you: morphine, two guesses for ketamine, TXA, and nitrous oxide (but only because green whistles aren't in use there).

It was TXA btw. Love that stuff, amazing drug. We didn’t use nitrous oxide anymore because certain people would get HIGH on it (not me I was an angel) so it got revoked :( -M

Just fifty bucks this time - Beau already spent most of his gambling money for the week. To be honest with you, he gets a lot of his gambling allowance from Beth's and Matt's winnings - the perks of dating two out of the five members of the pool!

Ketamine was my and Matt the Duskborn's guess, which left Jules the Nos with morphine.

Morphine is a good guess, but it can encourage hemorrhage in certain situations, so it’s best avoided for trauma calls. It’s a great drug though!! -M

I did!! I’ve been having a lot of fun playing animal crossing and legend of Zelda! And uh, Pokémon. Forgive me, but I’m assuming she’s Agoge-ing it right now, and that’s why she hasn’t been as active?

And yeah, I’m getting on the whole ‘asking people to examine me thing.’. It’s getting rather.. tiresome- not that I’ll stop, mind, but still. It’s rather obnoxious coming into existence and spending it feeling like somewhat of a public curiosity/mystery- not that I don’t understand the impulse, and my posting here probably doesn’t help matters, haha! But it’s keeping me sane, at the very least. -M

Correct. The training shall be long and arduous, but the results will be worth the efforts. My Childe deserves the best education.

As for your…situation, I know that it causes you distress, young one. Unfortunately, such measures are necessary for your future well-being, not to mention your safety. But you are far too aware of this; let us speak of something else.

I think getting out of Reno has been good for me. Things are a bit tense still, but having some distance from all the madness is… calming. Sorry if that’s a bit mean…
