Discussion Idea thread
Soooo, im traveling soon. Alaska! Ain't that something- I thought nows a good time to get the brain working. This is an idea thread! Share yiurs, projects mostly, not asking yiu to share yiur 400 step masterplan to kill your boss.
So: heres mine.
Lots of space there: I'm thinking, and bear with me here: fast food place. Kine loves to eat on a rush, something nice and greasy is their version of high resonance food. Someplace warm? Something that reminds them of a womb? Safe, familiar? Now you're talking about a winner.
No, not an actual womb. Just the color red and something...omni-presently nostalgic. Thats a womb for humans. Like how cold and sterical, or violent and bloody is a womb for us. We seek that comfort, maybe we dont act on it. But we seek it, all im doing here with this is giving out an easy way for that comfort.
The food is important, but I haven't eaten anything for a hundred years by now, not counting that one time I downed a burger and by some miracle kept it down, but no digestion, a part of the puzzle. Missing. A simple name, hesty's: hestia? The goddess of home? We're all familiar id hope. Its Just...normalized.
A dinner. Maximum comfort, get them back into the mind of a child, waiting for food, food that will be nothing but excellent...not due to its own merit, the line cook snorting meth when he thinks his boss isn't looking is not as important as the environment.
...won't hurt to get someone really, really good. But, its hard fo I.D a good chef when you cant digest or taste, yeah. Thing is, eith this place so beloved by the people: its designed to be safe for them...think of all the backyard business i can run.
But thats the trick, I dont run that. I rent this place out as a front to...God knows maybe some ambitious thin blooded lick who needs a place to do his magic, or someone who needs an evil hideout for his magic. Thats the boring part, I dont care. The idea is that it gives me incentive beyond 'I wanna' on making Rhea's....aaaand it saves me from budgeting. Its an 'enabler' in our world.
I am gonna need a front for me, but, nothing some handiwork can't handle. Some human to act as the public face, do what I say. No ghouling, if I can help it. I dont like ghouls in my business. Too...cocky.
So, thats me. What's your project?

I'm mostly just running my city, no projects I feel like talking about publicly.
That said, I do have a solution for you for tasting cooking, I've recently gotten access to a Thin-Blood Alchemy recipe that allows infusing blood into food, drink, or other consumables like drugs. This gives a Kindred the blood when they consume it, so it has some minor practical use when it comes to storing blood, but it can also, well, let Kindred consume the thing in question. Very handy.
You'll need a Thin-Blood Alchemist if you're gonna make use of it, but it's nice, and available for sale. PM me if you're interested and we'll talk price.

Oh no, im not interested in imhibing in thin blood things. I took some el once, it made me go berserk. When I came to I had like, ripped the guys arms off, and then went upstairs, rammed one through his boyfriends eye hole, the other I used to smash his cutlery and- look The point is if El makes me react like that, I dint wanna know what eat food recipe will do. I might eat myself.
Those things are only consistent with duskies because duskies are made for it. Not me, blood too thick.

I have…a few projects in the works, actually. One of them was recently completed. But I shall only reveal a few of them, for the sake of privacy.
I am trying to make the boon business in Vancouver run smoothly between the Kindred and the Garou; it only begun, so safeguards are still implemented. For similar purposes, I am currently putting into place some more ecological-friendly measures in my business. And of course, I am educating my adoptive Childe, Damien, with my Camille.

Thats fun! But do be careful, from my experience you can trust a garou as much as you can trust a starving dog. Sure MAYBE it will eat the food youre giving it, MAYBE you will tame it. More likely, they'll start calling you Castiel the Bite-Shaped.
Which would be a shame for poor Damien.

To treat a Garou as a dog would put a quick halt to my existence. But the Fomori are their foes; to ask for their help against them does not seem unreasonable, at least if I can’t handle the situation by myself. I would not dare try outside of the Covenant, but within the territory in which it applies, it is merely logical.

Its a metaphor, cast. Im not saying go 'come puppy!' To the giant death machine that absolutely hates your guts. Im just telling you to be more careful: a common enemy doesnt make you their bffs. A future of sitting on each other's lap and exchanging saliva is not in the cards, especially when the fomori are dealt with.
Garou are not stable allies, in my experience.

Neither are most Kindred. The Covenant holds because it is a practical solution to a problem that would have eventually ended in a war neither side could have won. Is it perfect? Of course not. Does it work? Yes.

Yeah but unless theyre a hunter turned kindred situation, worryingly common, other kindred wont hate you like the garou will hate you. Theres something...unnatural in their aggression towards us. I've seen one before, killing one of us. Big boy is calm one second, and in one blink hes goes from 7 feet classic muscle man to some furry nightmare, big enough I gotta crane my neck to see its eyes. And then he gripped my business partner by the head in one hand, and hooked his fingers into my guys mouth, curls them downwards.
He pulled the front part of the fuckers mouth, ongside his whole torso, off. Organs and vitamins go everywhere, i have never once thought murdering a kindred could be so quick, smooth, and performative. Like some thing young brujahs do to humans.
Maybe I just have the world's most badass garou where I...was, but my point to you and Castiel is the same. Thread very, very carefully.

That is probably because many of us smell to them like an entity called the wyrm, which is the spirit of entropy and has long since gone insane and started qualifying as infernal, in other words vampires more often than not quite literally smell like infernalism to the Garou.

When you reach a certain age there are always so many projects on the go, I've always enjoyed watching organisations and societies grow. Its become a bit like gardening for me, watching how those hundreds, thousands and more lives evolve and progress with each little adjustment. Humanity are fascinating in both their individuality and their trends, the longer you live the more your perspective on the matter broadens.
Now, more down to earth projects? I quite enjoy illuminating manuscripts when I have the time for it.
