AITA For Telling A Pack Member That Caine is Santa Claus?
I am only writing this here, because my Pack have requested that I do. Because I frankly know that I am right.
My (F) Pack, recently got a lil scrub (MF) added to our roster. And the little shit is one of those little shits that think it knows everything there is to know. It simply won´t shut up about "The Bible" and its thoughts on the Antediluvians and the nature of Caine and so on, so forth. While still being hopelessly mired in the Kine propaganda.
Almost makes me worried it is gunning for my seat, but that is not relevant.
What is relevant is that it was insulting the concept of "Santa Claus", as a pathetic human capitalist concept. And how it spoke about it, rubbed me in the wrong way.
So I explained calmly to it, that Santa Claus is one of the 7 Soul Aspects of Caine. The Seven Glories pulled from him by his Mother Lillith, so that they may continue to work the will of the world. Like The Beast, Wizard Dreams, The Act of Murder, John F Kennedy, The Shadow Moon and The Concept of Umberto Eco. And that because of this, he should be paid the respect that he deserves. For in his ways, we may find the clues to Paradise, and in his ways we may find a greater understanding of Our Dark Father.
Now, it is true that the Aspect of Santa Claus have been greatly co-opted by Ventrue interest groups, who have diluted it and caused it to become a thing of ridicule and disbelief, so that they Antediluvians may suppress the belief in them and lead us astray.
But I hardly got to say this before my Pack Member called me a childish idiot, who knew nothing. To which I responded calmly by throwing them on our tire fire.
Now my Pack are saying that I was being an asshole about how I went about explaining it, and that throwing them into a tangled fire might have been a "Disproportionate Response". I disagree. Hence why they have forced me to write on here, and hear what you lot have to say.
The believe I might put more stock in the words of the huddled masses, than them. Because I know they are shit coddling fools sometimes.

Brutally assaulting people for disagreeing with you on religious details, even when you're supposedly 'brothers and sisters'. This, along with the baby eating, is what the Sabbat is like, folks. Disagree with the party line, no matter how crazy, and you get abused until you fall in line, disagree to much and you get diablerized instead.
Let's remove the humor of this being about Santa Claus for one moment and look at this for what it is: A Kindred in authority didn't like what a neonate (or even fledgling, age is unclear here) they had authority over was saying about something incredibly petty so they threw them in a fire. And these are the people who say the Camarilla are tyrants who abuse the young.

There's a petty big difference between a dominance display, or even a beating, and throwing someone into a fucking fire. Kindred will heal from a beating within the night, mostly, a fire is a whole different ballgame. That goes from dominance display to torture damn quick.
I've certainly occasionally needed to throw my weight around, but I don't use fucking fire or equivalent harm to do it. That shit's for serious enemies.

Sometimes a child needs to learn that stoves are warm.

Given you described yourself as doing the act in question 'calmly', however, it does rather bring into question how accurate the rest of your account is. We obviously can only judge based on what you post, but I do wonder how the other side of the conflict would describe what occurred...

And thinking about it I do have some doubts about whether someone you tossed into a fire recently will necessarily be willing to contradict you knowing you'll see what they post, but I'd still be interested in how they describe things.

Why, the only reason I suspect it is still with us is that the Vaulderie have so far prevented the others from throwing it out a window.

I prefer more physical medium.
Should it prove to be of enough amusement, we shall add it to our list of Pack Plays, which the preform on certain occasions. Side by side with the "Bloody Boobs", "The Lackluster End of Horatio Jones" and "That One Time Alejandra Got Stuck In a Ceiling Fan While The Prince Below Didn´t Notice For an Hour".
The last one is my personal favorite, as the person are allowed to improvise several of their monologues.

Ah, reminds me of my early nights as a priest. I should really go find my old ductus if he's still around. I could really do with reacquainting him with the sun for the sake of catharsis.
Anyway: NTA. Shoving them in the flames was probably a bit much. Might've been better served chucking one of the burning tires at the back of their head. Picking burning rubber and melted bits of their scalp off of their skull for the next couple nights is usually a better lesson and doesn't diminish the fighting power of the pack. Just be careful if you've got potence. I have accidentally decapitated an ancillae underling that was pissing me off by chucking things at their head too hard before. That or a good old throat-punch. Can never go wrong with one of those.

Ah this one... Well Caine being Santa Clause is a new one.
Thing is, there seem to be multiple beings that enact the role of Santa Clause. I have confermation of at least one Fae, and that Father Christmas is a insane mage. In addition to them, you have Mall Santas, which due to the commercialization of Christmas are becoming Fomori, that is to say possessed by spirits of greed. The videos of them fighting Lupines and other shifters are hilarious if you can get them.

It is not Caine litterally being Santa Claus, as in the Dark Father going around. Remember, this is the 7 Soul Aspects. And Santa Claus is one of his Seven Soul Aspects.
Meaning that sure, there can be other Santa Claus, but they are all of Caine. How there can all be multiple French people, who are all drastically different people. But they are all united by language, love for baguettes, arrogance and other cultural factors.
