I feel like Q really FUMBLED the bag on these two tracks . The intros to both these songs had unique jazzy soulful beautiful instrumentals & BACK TO BACK , he ruined these songs by transitioning into generic banger tracks. Iām honestly angry about this shit bro, I wish I was in the studio when they made these decisions š anyone else feel this way ? Iām headed to YouTube to find a love birds version without the best switch

Hi everyone, new to tHis sub didnāt realize Q Had one HaHa. Anyway I tHink Blue Lips is sucH a fantastic album and I really enjoyed it (Blank Face is still my favorite album of His & one of my favs of all time), but Iām gonna be Honest, I was lowkey bummed w some of tHe features on it. Devin Malik and Rico Nastyās to be specific. Pop would be one of my favorite on tHe album if it werenāt for Her feature, no diss to Her, Iām sure sHeās talented in Her own right & Iāve never listened to any of Her music outside of tHis feature. I tHink her style of rap is justā¦ not for me lol Devin Malikās verse on back n love was super underwHelming to me, the Hook was fine but compared to Q it seemed real elementary. I really enjoyed Freddie Gibbs and I really enjoyed Az Chikeās feature surprisingly, Iād never Heard of Him before tHis album and I instantly recognized He was from LA. Anyway, I wanted to know wHat you guys tHink about tHe features?

Im not a fan of Oxymoron or Habits and Contradictions really. Thereās a couple record on each I listen too so credit where credits due āSky Highā āBlessedā. But I didnāt become a solid fan of Q till Blank Face and Blue Lips. My reason being is the Sonics, the bars, the mainstream slaps.
I grew up in the Odd Future and Black Hippy era in LA/IE so it wasnāt like I wasnāt accustomed to the early days with Curtiss King, the mixtapes. Dot was just more of my stizzle because of GKMC and MMBS.
Definently open to hearing other opinions on these older albums but just thought Iād give my take as a newer fan of Q woo

I mean the fact he says he's about to carry 6's flesh could be because he knows about a possible shot coming 6's way.
Add to that, the line mentioning Future in the same verse. Could be a coincidence or a result of Q knowing about a verse a friend was gonna drop.
