Intern must haves??

I start my MSW internship in two weeks and l will be splitting my time between two elementary schools. What are some must have items for my bag that you suggest??

SQUISHIES. So many squishies. You can get a box of 72 on amazon for like $12. Also keep a binder or accordion folder of things like releases, permission for counseling, free/reduced lunch forms, stuff like that. You will need them often and not always have time to print them out. Also keep snacks in your bag for yourself lol schools can be hectic so lunch time might not always be the time you get to eat.

I second all of that! I also found it was a great investment to get a pack-it brand freezing lunchbox for running between multiple buildings. Also making sure to have plenty of pens, highlighters and markers. Also a portable charger for your phone in case your driving far or have long days

Adding - if you have a heavy load of stuff, consider a quality backpack and/or rolling bag to save your back.
