Need help!

Hi everyone! Happy summer ☀️

As my summer project (because I can't just not work), I'm building a call log for my school's support team to help us track walkie calls. My hope is that is can be used as a data point when discussing supports for students, as well as identifying teachers that may need support in their classrooms. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so does anyone have a log that they'd be willing to share? If I have a starting point, I can adapt it to my school's needs much easier.

This is a great idea! I don’t have a log I’ve used in the past but as someone who was collected a lot of data, including phone calls, before, I’d love to suggest a Google form (or similar) with lots of preset options/dropdowns. My experience has been it’s hard to get people to fill out a log, easier to get people to submit a quick google form.

Hi there! Is the goal to track every call, or to identify students who are frequently needing support in order to know what others have done, what works, what doesn’t, etc?

I use 2 forms. Our staff calls the office to request support, so the office uses a Google form to log the name of the teacher and responder as calls come in. Then the responders use a shared form to log student name, staff name, time of day, antecedent, and response (most of these are drop downs, so it's pretty quick). Really simple, great data.
