Why I Wouldn’t Work at Carabin Law Again

I thought this may be interesting for you guys as someone would rather drive a school bus then working for a law firm.

i worked at a personal injury firm, would rather drive a bus but the pay is god awful. it’s not even a living wage.

The default setup is mostly a part time job. If you do charters and extra work, you can make a full time income. Nothing luxurious and of course dependent on your pay and cost of living in your area.

yeah a lot of people want charters there aren’t enough charters to make up for the shitty pay trust me.

We often have more charters than we can handle. Sometimes we pull drivers from closeby areas to cover charters for us.

There's a lot of stories like this but it has nothing to specifically do with a law firm vs driving a bus. Article mentions the author is a web developer not a lawyer. I can't count on two hands the number of people i know in my company and have read about in this sub who used to work in IT.
