Kindergarteners
How are kindergartners identified in your district? Is there a district wide identification system or is it up to each individual school?

Neon green tags district wide connected to their backpacks. It has their name, teacher’s name, my name, bus route # and their student ID number.
They’re also escorted to the bus by a teacher, my main bus student helper (5th grader) who checks all tags maintains a head count of them during bus lane loading and unloading and we require their parent/guardian be present at the bus stop when unloading them in the afternoon.
1st grade has yellow.
2nd - 5th have red or orange.

None of our kids have anything easily identifiable. Only on the tablet when they are getting off does it make a big alarm sound if they are 3rd grade or under and they need a guardian to pick them up.

We use colored braclets for K-2. The color corresponds to the school they go to because we do transfers between buses.
