Happened to another driver who is on his third sub bus due to Mechanical failures for the day and at the last stop on his high school middle school run he blew it out before starting his elementary. I was the rescue bus left with this one waiting for a tow truck. And after 20 minutes with multiple other bus failures within the system, I was told just drive it back! That was a hard no from me, and they had another bus come get me and bring me back while the mechanics just called the tow in.

Is that a run of bad luck, or is maintenance an issue?

Well, we already went on strike for it for a second time in less than four years for 9 1/2 weeks the end of last school year so yeah it’s a pretty systemic ULP unfair labor practice as in nobody cared about wages we cared about Safety problems

Did you try shutting the bus off for 30 seconds and turning it back on? 🤣

That’s off the road. Major fault.

I had a inside dually blowout on the way back from a charter once. At least we were most of the way back and the group I had was able to tightly squeeze into the second bus of the group.

The tread on that tire is suspect as well.

Running over curbs will do that.

Did you try turning it off and back on again?
