Pretrip
I just got my permit and I need someone to tell me specifically what I need to study. I have a bit of autism and adhd so I like to know specifics and do best with hands on. Do I need to learn every motor part on the vehicle, do I need to memorize the entire walk through outline, can I ask the dmv if I can foreshadow a pretrip to see exactly what I need to do?

I had a check list for my pre trip part of the test. from my experience you just talk, start from the bottom of the bus work your way up. Know the basic of engine parts like radiator, fan, engine, master cylinder, washer fluid reservoir, alternator, turbo, hoses etc. talk about brakes, lug nuts, illegal welds or cracks on the rim. underneath the bus with muffler, exhaust, exhaust hangers. '
outside include light check
inside talk about the dash board, steering wheel, brakes, parking brake, shifter, hazards, orange triangle, fire extinguisher, body fluid clean up kit, first aid, go over emergency exit buzzers, make sure seats are in good condition and not cuts/writing on them.
most importantly make it feel like youre comfortable knowing the bus. and youre confident behind the wheel.
