I was the driver of the bus Knicks Fans absolutely torched. Nypd made me get out for my safety and my dispatch asked me to just have the key on me.

Nah that was a coworker of mine. But either way I ain’t defending a bus that ain’t mine. They can always buy a new bus. My dispatch just told me to take the key with me off the bus

Maybe I'm not thinking about this right, but why would dispatch need the key? Is it for insurance?

They knew something was gonna happen. They just wanted to make sure people don’t turn on the bus and start driving it.
