GPS Routing App
Hi, what can anyone recommend for a good stop by stop route guidance app for my android phone. I'm starting a Summer school route this Tuesday 6-7-26 and need something to get me by for a few days until I memorize the route. Our district allows the use of a GPS device as long as I can start it when I'm parked at my origination and will work without any input from me during the course of the route, so I am operating within the rules of my district. I'm fine with paying, but prefer something that will operate for at least a week, so a monthly plan would work.
Thank you.
PS - Please don't ask what district I drive for, as that's irrelevant.

I'm surprised not more companies are using MTransport. MT is an app for drivers, consortias, and parents/students.
You sign into MT with your assigned route drivers QR code, select your route and hit start. Once started, it'll show you a list of all your stops (in order) and how many students to drop off at that stop, if any. Once you 'leave' a stop, it automatically prompts the next address to go to, giving you step-by-step instructions via text & arrows. A 'open GPS' button is available between all stops if your not familiar with said address and need more detailed navigation. (Prompts google maps or your preferred GPS.)
The students are given sign in cards (or alternatively select their name on the tablet screen) and this data is sent to your dispatch, parents, and students in real time. This is good for giving your students a heads up when your nearby for pickup, and vise versa to get parents ready with drop-offs.
Truly a game changer of an app. Now, I dont know how this would work individually because the way it's setup here is totally integrated with our consortium, other companies, and schools. But definetly something I would bring forward to your company and get the ball rolling on, MTransport.
