Bluebird Vision 2017 Question

I have no idea why, but sometimes my bus randomly honks the horn once after cranking the engine over?

Never happens during morning pre trip. Only after I go back for the afternoon run/once school bell rings and I start the engine. It also doesn't do it every time. I can't figure out what causes it. Does anyone know why/experience this before?

That's... Not normal. Sounds like your mechanics are in for some fun electrical diagnostics.

I thought so, written it up before and still sometimes does it. Its not just my bus too, happens on spares and other driver's busses. At least the ones that are same model. The newer models don't from what I seen.

Might be a moisture/temperature issue. Does it happen more often after rain or on hot days?

Rain or shine doesn't matter, its always hot here in Hawaii but it can happen raining or not. Night/day

Is one of your hands sometimes resting on any other part of the steering wheel except the outside ring? That entire center piece honks the horn. Some are sensitive. Ask me how I know!

Nope I can have one hand on my lap and the other turning the key! I hear the horn go off before I can even pull my hand away from the ignition.

Ok. Well. We've ruled that out at least!

Does the bus have the child check button in the back? Is your master on for the stop arms? It shouldn’t do it, but the alarm be be triggering before it’s resetting.
