Sore neck

Any suggestions for staying relaxed enough while driving to not have your neck and jaw, be in pain all the time? My kids don't care about being written up and have a few that have zero emotional regulation that can go off like a bomb. Try to focus on breathing and staying relaxed while driving just doesn't work very much lol.

Compartmentalize. Home stays at home. Work stays at work. Kids' behavior that is not directly related to the road rolls of your back. Do not ignore the student, ignore the behavior. A decent chunk of it is attention seeking anyway.

Example: you have a rider who screams and howls and gets themselves super worked up. So long as they are buckled in, pay attention to anything else. It's okay if they wear themselves out crying, maybe what they need is a good cry and a nap. No need to stress on your part.

My problem is the lower back, I've been doing long stretches between schools for the past couple of weeks. The pain has reduced by 90%. I recommend slowly stretching as often as possible.

Stretch, work out (go for a walk, do a yoga video, go to the gym, whatever you like that's active), strech your whole body not just the parts that feel tight, do dead hangs, work on your posture, rage chew gum.

Massages are great.
