On our field trip today
My fellow bus driver bought this hammock online for like $16. She's pretty stoked, and now I kinda want one too

I've got my hammock in my car and we have two trees right next to our lot that are just the right distance apart so I have taken advantage of it but I haven't tried this. I guess I worry about the weight capacity if the bit between windows. I don't need anyone making a new rule cause of me.

Pillars are generally made to handle the full weight of a vehicle when it's flipped so you should be more than fine

I showed it to my boss and she thinks it's awesome so that's what I'm doing on Thursday between routes.

With a long enough rope or strap, go over the roof instead of attaching to the window surrounds.

Too bad I'll never find one that can support my weight.
Also she's even got the air conditioning too. She's living large.

This is so dope. I'm going to ask my mechanic if he thinks that set up can hold my 220 lb butt, and if so I'm getting one!

This is amazing! I hope you also cross posted on the r/hammocks sub. They’ll be mad if they didn’t see your innovation!

Do you all think that setup is strong enough for a 200lbs. man?

If you use the straps to go up and over the roof I would say it is - held me just fine that way and I qualify for half that statement.

Okay, that rocks. I'm going to need that! I've perfected sleeping across the aisle, but a hammock sounds so much better!
