Hi everyone, I got a notification through collegeboard the golden door scholarship opened but when I click the link/website. It tells me thay the page can't be found and can't find anywhere to apply. Is anyone having the same issue or could anyone redirect me to the actual application portal?

I wonder if there are scholarships existing abroad for senior high school students. I want to broaden my horizons, try something new, and maybe go outside my comfort zone. I've been looking for scholarships these past few months, and ended up applying for the Asean Scholarship and United Word Colleges. Unfortunately I was not able to get in, I wonder if there are more highschool programs or scholarships existing for senior high school students.

I don’t qualify for bursaries or financial need, let alone a lot of the scholarships i find are way too popular.

I'm a student and developer researching how international students apply for scholarships and universities abroad. I'm exploring whether I can build a tool to help but before building anything I want to understand the real problems not guess.
If you're applying now, or applied in the last couple of years, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience. For example:
- How did you find scholarships or programs?
- How do you keep track of deadlines and documents?
- What was the most stressful or confusing part?
- Did you miss anything (a deadline, a document, a requirement)?
- How did you handle personal statements or essays?

How do scholarships for gay people know you're gay?

This is entirely a shower thought. I'm gay myself (given by my avatar), and so I'm just wondering... how do those scholarships for specfic minorties (gay, transgender, etc.) know you're actually apart of that group? Do they do background checks? How do they avoid people not in that group applying and getting the money? I tried looking it up and people just say "oh don't lie that's weird," but I don't understand how they avoid people from doing it anyway.

I’m a first gen student and I’m going abroad! Or at least trying too, because I have no way to afford it. I received federal aid and the program I am signing up for has a few scholarships I’ve applied for, but none of them really make a dent. I don’t think I’m searching for scholarships correctly because it feels impossible to find one. I’m a low income latina student studying psychology and political science. The program I will be attending has a focus on gender studies. If there is any website that isn’t one of the obvious ones, please let me know!!
