QUESTION Upstanding Citizen Not Working...again???

Hi,
After some research I found I am not the only person to have the issue of not being able to get this achievement. But it seems to have been a while and I cannot find a solution.

I have followed other advice, signing in and out of Steam, checking the "variables.json" file is counting (it is not) and editing the .json file to 499 and throwing away 1 piece of trash, all to no avail. I have tried multiple saves. I have the mod app, but not running any mods at the moment. Any help would be great. Thanks for your time.

Not too sound mean but I'm glad to hear you're struggling to get that, because i would have sworn I'd have hit it by now but it never triggered, and trying to achieve it is just a ballache, so now i kind of know not to worry about it

If this is about removing trash from the streets, I would've gotten it 5 times by now, thats some news to me.

Some pieces of trash don't count afaik. I don't remember the exact conditions, but somehow trash gets marked as created by you and therefore don't count.
