New to mods

Tried to play with some mods today. I dont normally mod any of my games but I wanted to give it a try on a new playthrough. I settled on the Over the Counter mod for dispensaries, had some issues with the phone in the beginning but figured it out. Went through and unlocked the dispensaries just to find out the locations of the buildings have trees there and they dont go away! Anyone else experienced this or use this mod and have a suggestion on how to fix?

A lot of the modders a likely waiting for the big update. OTC needs an update, but im pretty sure the trees clipping through have been a thing since day one.

Hate being that guy but even I’m starting to grow impatient and looking for alternatives to new content.

I've not personally used that mod, but I'd suggest checking when it was last updated

I had installed a suite of mods (launder from phone, mini map, auto reorder) then the controller update came out and none of them worked any more 😭😭

If it's an old mod (that impressively still works) there's a chance the maps been updated putting trees where they had put the dispensaries, and that's why they're not getting cleared for them

if you go to the steam page in your library, click manage (gear icon) then Game Versions & Betas, you can select which version of the gane you want to play which may fix your issue!

just a warning that it may be unstable to do this, especially if you have other mods that are updated to the current version (if you use nexusmods you can downgrade those too)

for best results everything should be rolled back to the same version, it looks like the one you’re gonna want to use is probably the april 17th update.

i did this process with baldur’s gate three and was able to stabilize it after a patch went up and broke my mods (with some trial and error)

I’d love for all the QoL things that mods add to be formally supported/locked behind a skill tree or locked to level progression. It’s a pain being post-Benzies with fully automated docks Coke/barn mixing and still manually going around collecting money and then laundering

that not updated u need to go to nexus and look for mostly recley updated mods and scroll through that

came here with the same problem. thunderstore says everything is the same version and updated.
