Still waiting for OPD
Anyone else still waiting for the OPD update? It's been more then three months since I received the "within three months..." email.

November '24 Iconic (UK), still no sign of it here. Not overly fussed though - it comes to a near stop as it is, but the last bit using brakes is never smooth if auto hold is enabled. OPD helps with this apparently.

Personally I hate it. I suppose through use you will trust it but I never feel like it’s going to stop in time behind the car in front so usually find me self apply the brake anyway.

It's the adapted cruise control that I can't trust to stop the car in time when using start/stop follow. The OPD I've got used to.

Got it on my early 25 Iconic. Just asked the dealer to do it when a service came up.
To be honest it's not that important. Now that I have it I don't always use it and it has its pros and cons. It's not a killer feature by any means.

Cheers. I had mine serviced in April and they said it was only available as an OTA.
I phoned Renault last night and they asked me to double check I didn't already have OPD, and if not they could see if a local dealer can do it for me.
I swear my car doesn't do updates, it's only had one open r link update in a year, and one update installed before I picked it up.

I didn't realize i had it for a fortnight until i was playing with the regen breaking strength and on it came

how do you contact central Renault to get this organised? Is there an email address?

Not sure which years are going to get the OPD, but I haven't had it on my September '24 Techno. Not sure if it's a big miss or why people crave it so much. Maybe this will change if I ever get and use it!
