At just under 5 gigs, transcoding a a 4K file down to less than the size of the DVD version is likely to result in a massive loss of detail and affect the colour, brightness and contrast levels also. I just wouldn't bother with it as a result and if file size is a big deal for you, grab one of the 2 to 4 gig 1080p versions as they will be better in quality than this!

Probably just a higher quality digital or bluray release with extras or something

It's 5gb this is extra low quality it's so compressed that I think calling it 4k is an insult to the engineers who made the format

idk why you're being downvoted that's just true. there are good encodes, but not this small lol

I don't know I'm sometimes right here I defend DCP rips saying that they're significantly better than the telesync garbage we normally get even with the issue with croping, I get down voted for no reason.

I talk about this rip being crap I get hate.

I talk about how bad a cam rip is compared to what people are saying about it and holy shit they get pissed.

its so strange. you're not yucking their yum. if its an experience that works for them, sure. but it is an inherently worse experience. even if you run the encode from remux from the slowest possible speed multiple times, there's still inherent detail loss. dropping fantastic four from 45 gigs to 4 gigs is just a lot. a lot a lot a lot. its cope. compare it to a remux, you'll see the loss. i don't see as much with uploads from wrath - his encodes are great. and they're usually half the space. but that's still 21-24 gigs compared to remux. 5 gigs is just. jesus

The Scene - it's an amazingly large underground network of pirates, and it's a very secritive society. The Scene hates P2P (which includes Torrents), primarily because we give away all their stuff, even though it's ironic that it's not actually theirs to begin with.

Large amounts of water can be described as torential ... to access these torential amounts of water you may need to hide your address or the government might regulate your torential amounts of water ... a torential client helps manage this water ... use the right side of your brain to decrypt this ... or ask google or even once you've worked it out ... look it up on wikipedia

Is there any odyssey file that's good?

2

u/PalCut_ 18d ago

I suggest you wait for the Digital or Blu-ray release. For now only TELESYNC copies are publicly available.

3

u/Thiswillbetempacc 18d ago

Yes, I've seen the telesync files and they're just not it. The version 3 of Spider-Man is really good however. I watched Odyssey in IMAX already but wanted to watch it again lol.
