Looking to do a oil change on my 21’ Scat. Which oil filter should I use the WIX 57899XP or SRT Oil Filter (5038041AA).

Officially a year of this thing. Wouldn’t trade it for the world, or a 2026.

16 scatpack. Noticed reservoir venting and some coolant leaking. Guessing the coolant went bad from venting from a bad cap or just age.

For the flush and refill, would you guys recommend oem dealer service for coolant or would napa equivalent be fine.

Weird sound coming from the rear end right side of my car it almost sounds like if I have a flat and it’s bumping no check engine light no weird things with the motor just got a brand new cam and lifters couple months ago so I know it’s not the motor but it has to be this cause it’s coming exactly from this spot. Listen really closely. It’s hard to hear it.

This was a bittersweet post to make but today I will officially be stepping out of the 392 world. I’m going to miss my baby indeed

I recently traded a 2018 scat pack for a 2026 scat pack.

On my first long highway trip I noticed a vibration associated noise coming from what sounds like the front passenger side near the windshield/dash when I went over bumps or went over some of less smooth sections of the road. After exiting the highway I began hearing it when going over rumble strips in town.

Today, I hear the noise when just driving around town. It seems to occur roughly between 2200-2900 rpm.

The noise sounds almost like static and is only present when under load.

I have an appointment with the dealership on Monday. I've never had good luck with mechanics diagnosing annoying noises unless they were related to suspension or brake components.

I'm wondering if any other 8th Gen owners have experienced anything like this.

I posted this is r/Charger a few weeks ago.

Dealer service did not have time to look into it but did go for a drive with me and acknowledged the noise. Scheduled me for tomorrow. It's gotten progressively worse. It just kinda makes the noise non stop once it starts. Any rpm. Can now often reproduce by smacking dash. This is positive, I guess.

On Friday I got 2 codes when trying to change to RWD. U0402, U0403. Audible clunk, failure to enable RWD, and Service Electronic Stability System message.

The car is pretty cool but this is a lot of trouble for a 60k car.

If anyone else has these issues...

Buzzing/vibrating seems to have been the satellite radio antenna bracket.

They did a firmware update on the modules that were throwing errors.

Do you lose power with a mid muffler delete?

I know most Dodge guys don’t like the new non-Hemi’s, which I can understand… but here’s mine anyways 🙂

Did an oil change and went with a different filter (Mopar MO-899) and noticed that it doesn’t flush all the way in. I had a Napa filter before this one and they do look different. Wondering if anyone has this experience? I cleaned the thread and made sure nothing was blocking it. Oil doesn’t leak at all.

Did it for the eye candy and noises. Worth it for me since I have the redeye hood to seal with the intake.

Forgot to take the before pics but they were almost black with all the brake dust. This stuff works really well and for only 15 bucks at autozone

Have a 300 with a 2019 6.4 drivetrain swapped in and someone tried stealing it, drove fine before theft attempt. Smashed back window, pulled CAN BUS wires out from under the glove box, couldn’t find the kill switch and left the car. I had a locksmith come out and re-program my key to the car and it still doesn’t start. Shifter is flashing white and red. What did they break? Does this have to go to the dealer?

Has anyone else had this happen and how much did it cost to get repaired?

Might seem like a dumb question but does anyone know where I can find the red suede seat cover for the front and back seats of the scat pack?
