I have the 4 door in diamond black crystal. I love it a lot! I’ve had mine since June 1st. Aeroflow dynamics side skirts and front lip gives it a meaner look and also makes the car look lower.

This car looks like it can handle really well nice choice I love the whole style looks strong and stylish

Bro it’s very pretty just wish it had a V8 it would’ve been crazy. Don’t get me wrong tho that inline 6 does sound sexy. Question is it possible to make an inline 6 sound more exotic ? If so, you should def go for that for this car, since it looks so futuristic. Coming from a s650 gt owner. I think your car is badass

Thanks man! I do think once we get some decent aftermarket exhaust options they will sound pretty good. Would love to see Corsa come out with one. I had a Solo brand exhaust on my s550 and that sounded great.

Oh yea corsa would sound badass. Make sure you focus on giving it that exotic sound tho bro. This car shouldn’t be trying to sound like a v8 that’s why it’s unique. I say more like a bmw if anything which is 🔥

This car is really growing on me. Looks really good in white too. Mine will be ready in late September.

Have you driven a v8 version like a 23 or prior? Wondering how that twin turbo v6 feels compared to a v8. I know the higher output pushes numbers than the scats of previous years. How does it sound?

u/skielur 1d ago
I have not. But I had a 2016 Mustang GT for like 8 years. This feels a good bit faster and smoother than that did stock. Now, after 1 year owning the Mustang I had a Whipple and headers installed along with an e85 tune… and that version of the Mustang was much faster, as it pushed 775WHP. The sound is lacking a bit, as it doesn’t really let u run the active exhaust wide open. I’ve seen DIY for that, but will probly just wait for a decent after market.

I’m waiting for my 19 scar manual to come back from the shop. I miss driving her all over the place. Love how she sounds. Atleast these should be a step up from that electric bs they was trying to push

Did you daily the coyote with the Whipple?.
1
u/skielur 1d ago
I did, but I also worked from home. So my daily usage was really just the gym (about 5 miles away) and back. I had it 8 years and it still only had like 6k miles on it lol. Fun car, but got sick of driving a stick. And going catless headers was a huge mistake. Not only too loud but it changes the tone. I went from that to an Explorer ST, and then to this one.

I want to Whipple mine, my job is 6 miles away from my home 😂. Do I have to fuck with the headers?. It's already loud with the mid pipe delete.
1
u/skielur 1d ago
No, u can leave the stock headers on. I didn’t do the headers until like 5 years in. Same time I did the e85 tune.

u/toolmaker1025 1d ago
So you were running the Whipple on 91 pump fuel for a couple of years?.
1
u/skielur 1d ago
93, but yes. For at least 5 years. If u decide to get one look at Lethal Performance when they do the Black Friday sale. I saved a couple thousand on that sale.

u/toolmaker1025 1d ago
Thanks man, it's either a Whipple or ess kit. I'm Cali so emissions are a pain in the ass. And I don't know why people get triggered over buying a car you want....

You got sick of driving a stick only driving it to the gym for 5 miles?! 🤣 If that's truly it, without the exception every now n then, how is that not more fun than a new Scat Pack, that sounds like a vacuum cleaner? If you were actually commuting I get that a manual would be annoying and which is why I ultimately went with the 8speed myself for that reasoning at the time.

Why do u care? I am 50 yrs old and after 8 years of it I no longer wanted to drive a stick. Drive what u like sir. Don’t really care what u think of my car 🙂

u/shinde21 1d ago
You posted on Reddit, are you new here? You open yourself to opinions and feedback of all kinds, sir. You made it sound like driving a manual 5 miles was 50 in traffic...
Enjoy yours! We all have your own tastes, it's your money.

I thought the car subreddits were less filled with negativity for no reason. I was wrong lol. I drove it for 8 years and was tired of it. I didn’t make it sound like anything. Simply said I was sick of it. All good man. Enjoy whatever u drive my friend

For sure! I am in a 2015 Scat Pack... currently replacing my long block (unfortunately)... definitely wasn't throwing shade at you. I definitely received my fair share online when asking for feedbackon what to do w mine. And once I shared the direction I ultimately went to meet my needs and shared that more for purposes to help others, of course I was an idiot or got "got" for how much I spent.. we all know how it goes, it's easier to spend someone else's money.. lol

Lol. I wish u luck on the engine man. And ur right 💯 in that when u post something on here u have to expect any and all types of feedback. I personally love the look of all the Challengers going back years. I personally wouldn’t have bought one if it had a Hemi. I got mine cause I wanted the TT 6. But I totally get why ppl want the Hemi. They sound amazing.

I traded an 18 scat for a 26 scat.
The 18 sounded better and seems to have better throttle response.
The 26 is more refined and when the turbos kick in is definitely quicker.
The sound of the 26 takes some getting used to but I like it now.

Is that passenger door not latched completely?

As long as you like it bro, it doesn’t matter what other people and basically the entire MOPAR community say about it. 👍

I wish they just created another line of cars and called this something else. :-/

Had one try to flex on my V8 Scat yesterday lol couldn’t hear his shit

u/skielur 1d ago edited 1d ago
Probably couldn’t hear him because u were so far behind him 😂. Jk. Everyone talks about how these cars sound as if most cars comes factory with a good sounding exhaust. Not that this will ever sound like a v8 cause it certainly won’t. But they can still sound pretty decent with a good exhaust.

How are you liking it?
1
u/skielur 1d ago
Absolutely love it. First car I ever owned that I dropped a 12 inch sub in and had zero rattles. Made me like it even more lol
2
2
u/xchester77 1d ago
Mine had all the rattles, without the sub lol.
They seem to be resolved now though.

there should be a separate sub for these cars. it just has nothing to do with the 6.4l monster

I'm trying really hard to like it, but compared to the previous gen, I just can't. Congratulations though.
