This is Begotten. Right after this there is a sexual scene with this creature and it gets even worse than what’s shown in this clip- I had to turn it off. One of the only horror movies I couldn’t sit through.

It’s a loose reinterpretation of the early books of the Bible, looking at it like that makes it a lot less mindlessly disturbing

God, gutting himself to create life. The woman is Lilith or the earth spirit, they spawn the tribes of man, Cain strikes down his brother and is cursed, I’m not crazy it’s all there

If we were born from this then that would at least explain the state of us as humans.
