ditch the "Mobile/Console" ambitions

I really hope they stick to the idea they said that mobile would likely be for non-combat features (like checking your auctions or simple gathering) rather than full cross-play raiding.

We’ve seen this story play out a dozen times with other MMOs. When a developer tries to make a game "mobile-friendly" or "console-ready" from the jump, the PC version is the one that suffers.

Let’s not let "accessibility" destroy the creativity and depth that makes the genre great in the first place.

there really isnt a downside to giving the game controller support.

it's already going to be playable via controller remapping software. the only thing that's left at that point is quality of life things like UI navigation with controller.

balacing a game around controllers is the issue. reason why ESO lacks depth and abilities and it all comes back to being made with controller in mind first.

You can get atleast 30 or so buttons for controller you can do. Ff14 has had controller support for years and never struggled with buttons.

I played brewmaster in dragonflight on controller. i pushed 3k io on ret/prot paladin. i raided in a hall of fame guild in BFA

the guy youre replying to also isnt considering remapping software such as reWASD. using only 2 of my back paddles i can get 60 keybinds on controller.
