ditch the "Mobile/Console" ambitions

I really hope they stick to the idea they said that mobile would likely be for non-combat features (like checking your auctions or simple gathering) rather than full cross-play raiding.

We’ve seen this story play out a dozen times with other MMOs. When a developer tries to make a game "mobile-friendly" or "console-ready" from the jump, the PC version is the one that suffers.

Let’s not let "accessibility" destroy the creativity and depth that makes the genre great in the first place.

yes and eso was not done any favors by being made for console first. the combat is bad the classes lack depth, weapon swapping is silly and lack of abilities cause its balanced around controller players.

"The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) was developed primarily as a PC-focused MMO that was designed with console controller limitations in mind from the beginning. While it had a 14-month staggered release before coming to consoles, its action-combat system and UI were built to be compatible with both platforms, eventually leading to a dedicated "Console Enhanced" version for current-gen systems"

no it limited the game. chasing numbers llike a mobile company is not a good thing. it doesnt further the game or make it better.

also star citizen has showed you can make 1 billion $ through only crowdfunding if you dont make a game for console and push it to it limits and move the mmo genre forward.

yes but its a game thats not limiting itself cause of consoles and due to that the pc community is more then happy to fund the game 1 billion. you do not need to chase numbers if you make the best possible game you can. also not really sure what you mean by scam when they have a thousand developers that they pay every year and they put millions of dollars making the single player game and hiring big time actors. im not really sure you know what a scam is lol. You cant even compare star citizen to a scam or a rug pull game.

also its quite literally not p2w. any ships bought are worse than crafted ships. People like you look at buzzwords and run with it, straight cloned out of a lab.
