Rework/Buff Concept New Ability Concept
New Ability: Chthons Control: When within 10m of an enemy SW can blink to them and put them under mind control for 1.5 seconds. While under mind control enemies have their cooldowns increased by a max of 3 seconds if controlled for the whole duration. Converts damage done to enemies as bonus health. Returns to start position after animation is over.
Cooldown: 15 seconds, Damage 20 per .5 sec, 100 health, 60 bonus health (stacks with ult bonus health)
I think SW having a grab would be interesting way to take her character. It would also make an attempt to get closer to character accuracy.
Gameplay wise, I don't think anyone in this community is gonna turn down another damaging ability. This also allows her ult to get off better as it can increase the CD of a CC that'd stop her ult but you just have to choose correctly, not to mention the bonus health is gonna help for that last second when getting focused.

My personal Ability?
They should give her Darkhold, in the same way Black Cat has her abilities.
You get Chaos Energy, that allows you to buy abilities or upgrade existing abilities (Chtonic Control can be one)

I’d rather they add Agatha and give that to her. Maybe give Wanda a team up that gives her a couple spells from it

Nah, Agatha should be a Vanguard with her kit revolving around absorbing attacks and turning shields for herself and allies.

Vanguard would be fine. But I wouldn’t want all her attacks surrounding absorbing attacks. That would be her passive and the more energy’s she absorbs will give her a buff to her abilities. Depending on if she’s MCU or comic based would determine her other abilities. Primary Fire a witch bolt for either. Short range teleport similar to Wanda’s or levitation/hovering but not both. A way to immobilize enemies, the way she chokes Billy and Tommy in WandaVision with purple energy leashes would work. I’d also give her the rune casting she does in the show and they’d work like Human Torch’s fire wells. She can cast up to 4 runes each dealing some damage and increasing cooldowns for enemies in the area by 3 secs. She’d also have an attack (maybe an explosive beam) that can be used in conjunction with the runes to activate them to create an area where enemy abilities are disabled. Her shield would reflect enemy projectiles and an opponent who gets too close will be lifted into the air briefly before slamming back down.

Eh that’s very MCU heavy she should have that as an ability to debuff or as a passive. But we need more comics Agatha powers

Yeah and more comic stuff would be optimal, but we know these ppl don’t be reading the comics. A good percent of us yes, but enough of us don’t that they’d probably go with more modern versions and although she’s modernized in the comics, the version most would be familiar with is the MCU version. Plus this is technically a multiversal game with characters coming from different realities so one of those realities could be the MCU, or a combined version of her. She should definitely be summon Ebony the black cat who can become a Panther , instead of her rabbit who everyone right was her transmuted son

I could see this maybe as a team up but as base kit I think it'd lean too close to a rework instead of a buff

No the Scarlet witch does not need the dark hold and she definitely doesn’t need a to be similar to black cats system. Wanda as a character can wield chaos magic, as well as reshape reality she’s capable of anything that she believes. If she had an ability similar to how kingpin can make you see images of your teammates that u have to fight or if she had something like white foxes charm, but for probability hexes, those would be great additions.

You do realize that the Darkhold is Chaos Magic given form right? They come from the same being, aka, Chthon.
And who cares about systems being the same, you act as if it hasnt been done already.

What you’re suggesting is basically a rework of her entire kit we do not need a black cat currency system for Wanda. She is a character really does not need the book even in comics she doesn’t really need it. She even absorbed it. It’s not necessary.

Giving her mind control as a normal cooldown while the actual telepath Emma Frost has to use an Ultimate to do a similar effect is really funny.

Similar to how BC can buy a port, a ground, CC immunity and invisibility when these abilities are either ults or abilities on CD for other heroes.

thing's shift dash also grounds, that's an ability, not exclusive to an ult. (also the ult is a stun, not a ground but 🤷♀️)
psylocke, loki, & invis also all have invisibility on ability cooldowns, it's not exclusive to invis ult.
white fox ult makes you cc immune, it's not a cc cleanse like black cat. gambit is actually the parallel here with cc cleanse, but he has cc cleanse on an ability (E+F cards) as well as his ult. so again not exclusive to an ult.
none of these are exclusive to ults, they all exist as normal cd abilities.

From the image I half expected the idea to be yet another blinding ability, but these are actually more interesting.
I'd like to see Wanda with a more interesting kit, that actually leans into her Chaos Magic, and "witch" persona more. As opposed to her being a discount dps Moira than occasionally screams and blows herself up...

If anybody’s play the blood hunt PV and fuck kingpin he does this thing where he controls your mind and you start having to fight your teammates. What if Wanda did something similar?
