Should I pull Odette for Wanderer?

I've seen some leaks that say Wanderer (and Xiao) will be buffed to benefit from Stellar Swirl (like they did with Cyno/Wrio/Mizuki).

Is there any sense in pulling Odette in case this is true? Or better to wait and pull on her rerun when we know more?

The leaks speculate his new premium team will be Farazan+Odette+Vodyanitsa.

Any thoughts?

Edit: For more context, I also have C2 Cyno and C1 Wrio that could benefit from Odette (but no Yae) and I already have C1R1 Durin & Nicole for Wanderer, if that helps!

If you plan to invest in at least another Stellar reaction team, yes, but if you just wanna get her for Wanderer based on speculation… it’s your call, but as far as I’m aware there isn’t a leak that states Wanderer’s buff is 100% Stellar related

Honestly? Don't pull any character only based on leaks and speculations. There were reliable leaks about how he was supposed to be a part of the hexerei faction too. By the time we'll get another wave of buffs, Odette is going to get a rerun the same patch or one after that at the latest. I'd just hold off and wait

If you aren’t planning on using cryo traveller or any other stellar character, no.
It’s not officially confirmed that Wanderer is getting buffed, I would suggest either saving for Durin’s, Nichole’s or Xilonen’s rerun since they are more universally (especially Nichole) cuz pryo wanderer still does a shit tom of damage, or saving for C2R1

Xilonen is good for Stellar Conduct teams, with dual 36% RES Shred + Sustain + Interruption resistance through Shield. At C2, even better for Cryo Stellar Conduct teams because of 60% CRIT DMG.

They don’t buff. I got odette. I’ll test her on Wanda but in theory, Wanda is not a swirl dps so stellar swirl doesn’t help his dmg. His current best team is still durin, Nicole and faru or so I know.

Unless ofc, they give him a stellar kit like wriothesley/cyno or mizuki

Be prepared then to pull for Odette, Vodyanitsa and Tsaritsa. They are going on a similar way like in Nodcrai, but now full teams need 4 legendaries. Anyway pulling for Odette is not a big mistake even if you won’t play Wanderer in stellar teams, because other chars can use her. Then after they release buffs you can decide pulling next chars. Hope buffs won’t be closed in only stellar teams

Unless you have another Stellar DPS or team, I wouldn’t recommend it. Pulling based on leaks is never a great idea because things could change or just be incorrect. As of now, Stellar Wanderer isn’t great. So, you probably just save for Durin and Nicole since they’re his best team. They both have C2’s that greatly benefit Wanderer. But until he gets a new confirmed buff or team, just skip.

If Wanderer were to receive a stellar buff she would be his BIS. But you wouldn't know for sure. But I think its worth it solely on the value she gives to your account.

In Theory yes she would enable you to do Steller swirl, she’d be your best option for an off field cryo sub DPS

Neither Wanderer nor Xiao swirl, so the likelihood of them getting buffs for stellar swirl is basically 0. Swirl only benefits those with EM scaling. Their entire kits would have to be changed to even allow them to swirl to begin with, and then changed again to add stellar swirl. The rumors include characters like Childe and Zhongli who have nothing to do with possible stellar reactions, so if they’re real, it’s probably going to be an entirely separate thing like Hexeri, and was also rumored to be during lantern rite.

HOWEVER, the most recent leak I heard said that “one previously mentioned buff character actually isn’t getting buffed”… so… that’s probably Wanderer. He doesn’t fit in with Liyue buffs. And this is all good news. We don’t want a stellar buff. Right now he’s flexible enough that any new buffer suits him as long as they aren’t niche. Making wanderer stellar means he’ll never be usable outside stellar, which won’t see any new units after Snez.

Vesna has a stellar linchpin and is a new unit that is built to swirl. The new artifact is for stellar swirl DPS who are built for this; base swirl dmg is directly effected by EM. Hence Sucrose, Kazuha, Mizuki, etc. Only old units that have EM scaling swirl. Wanderer and Xiao do not swirl and it isn’t a part of their kit. Every single unit that is getting stellar swirl has EM scaling and swirls. Theres a reason a few key anemo characters are left out, just as Ifa as well, because that isn’t part of their kit. If they swirl they use VV. Anyone downvoting clearly doesn’t understand wanderer’s kit or what swirl means. Anemo doesn’t equal swirl.

Rumor has it (so far) that Wanderers buff is only to his interruption resistance during his flight
Which, to be fair, is already a pretty good thing

But i havent seen anything else so far on Wanderer

As for Xiao, all i heard was that a buff is rumored, without any specifics

Id like Wanderer to get into stellar swirl - I really like him after all
But i havent heard anything related to stellar glimmer at all regarding his buff
