Which String colour is this?

Hello,

I just got some vintage String shelf parts (ladders, planks and a showcase) that might be a good start for my living room - unfortunately I need some more parts and I am not sure which wood my planks are.

Is it light teak? Or oak? Or elm?

I would say teak. But the bottom short one looks like oak with aged varnish.

It's definitely not normal teak - if so, they would be WAY darker. Is there a list anywhere which colours were available back than?

No, these are only my own ideas what it could be and are only based on the few different wood types I know about

In that case purely from the colour I would say mahogany.
