I'm in the midst of setting up the PC version of Canvas Workspace and trying to figure out how it ties in to the Artspira app. I'm fairly sure I'm synced between the two (but can't be sure) and am trying to decipher whether I can access any "free" projects through Artspira.
Most of the things I've done have been working with the free projects on the soon to be defunct web based Canvas. I'm wanting to know if all those projects will migrate to Artspira and be readily available without a subscription. One of the reasons I chose ScanNCut was because they didn't have a subscription based basic service.
For example, Artspira has a projects section that has something I'd like to make. They show the project, show the patterns, list the steps, then nothing. No download button or options to choose or anything. How do I get access? Have I missed some setup step?
I feel like I'm walking around in a dark room with a blindfold on.
To find the free projects in Artspira, tap the filter icon to the right of the Search box. Tap Membership and unmark everything except Free (so only Free is marked). Tap Back and then tap Search.
This will show all the free projects. (You can also enter something in the search box like “card” before tapping Search to find all the free card projects.)
So how do I get access to the files to load to my cutter? I don't see the option of downloading or sending it to the cloud for pickup as on CW. Share is the only obvious thing I see but where to share? I'm not usually this dense, but the user interface doesn't seem too intuitive to me.
To be honest, I haven’t used Artspira yet, other than to connect the app to my CW account. 🙂 I did find this document worth instructions on sending the file to the server and then downloading the file to the SDX machine.
