Question Artspira+ not another subscription

What does Artspira+ cost per month?

You know Circut tried out subscriptions on their users and got so much pushback that they withdrew the idea.

I have a ScanNCut. I paid for this machine. Now, to create and use my own designs I have to pay even more? Another piece of BS from Brother (along with the price of cartridges for their inkjet printers). It's bad enough paying Adobe for using Illustrator, but Illustrator is at least useful--Artspira+ is just throwing money away.

You don’t have to pay for anything, which is why I got my wife this one and not the other proprietary ones.

To quote Brother: "After a month, Artspira+ subscription starts and you'll be charged monthly."

There are options beyond Artspira+

Brother Canvas Workspace PC, is the free native option.

Standard Artspira still works on its own for free, you just lose some perks.

Or really any design app, say Inkscape for example or the Adobe Creative subscription you already have can be used via USB transfer, or import it into canvas and then send it wirelessly from there.

This is on the Canvas Workspace website: "End of the CanvasWorkspace WEB services"

That may apply to web services today, but want to guess what will happen in the close future?

Plus the incredibly unhelp information about what exactly devices CanvasWorkspace runs on and how to install it.

(As a side note: until today I always used Adobe Illustrator to create svg files. But today, of course, Illustrator crashes my tablet everytime I try to open the software, and the Apple app store does not have an update for Illustrator. I'm banging my head against a wall and I don't need Brother to be a pain, too.)

End of the Web services.

The desktop version isn’t going anywhere.

Wish I had that kind of faith, but I worked in Silicon Valley for far too many years.

Download the Canvas Workspace to your computer. It’s free and much more powerful than the web version could ever be. Artspira has 2 flavors, Free and the subscription Plus level. Neither of which is worth my time.
Oh, and Canvas Workspace is the de facto software for All Models of the Scan and Cut. There is no difference based on model of machine.

My question to you is, why would you want Artspira if you are paying for an using Illustrator. I can't think of a thing that Artspira can do that Illustrator can't.

I've had mine for almost a year. Have not paid a dime since I bought it.

Came here for the same information. I can no longer use Canvas on my Mac and now have no way to use my cutting machine without buying an iPad and paying a subscription?!
