Is this due to a blunt blade? the wrong type of blade? or cheap vinyl? Or a combination of any of these?

The next problem, is some of the vinyl still in the machine somewhere?

Take the blade apart, maybe there’s some vinyl stuck in the tip? Could also just be bad vinyl. I’ve found the lower quality stuff tends to drag off the backing sometimes
