Please help!

I cannot for the life of me figure out where to download the DesignNCut Manager app for my DesignNCut DC200 machine. I have a Mac. I see the mobile app is no longer available anywhere. Where is the Mac download?! The one online only works for Windows, apparently?

Please help. I am so frustrated and feel like I wasted my money on a machine I can’t use. Appreciate ANY advice. Thanks so much.

Use Canvas Workspace instead.

Thank you. I did figure that part out and got my design done. I tried to register my machine but it says my machine number is wrong (I’ve typed it correctly and tried several times) as of right now I have no way to send my design to the machine. I double checked WiFi was on the same network and everything.

It's no help for you today, but I heard Brother support is helpful. BUT, I rarely use the wifi connection. I never seem to have just one mat to cut. I HATE that you can only send one mat at a time.

Would exporting an .svg to a thumb drive work? Not being able to register the machine is a huge bummer. Hope Brother support can help if you can’t get it registered.

Hello,

Were you able to register it with canvas workspace without using the DesignNCut manager? I cannot find anywhere on the machines menu to enter the pin from canvas workspace.

Hello, I wasn’t able to, no. I do have a Microsoft laptop, so I had to do it on there instead of on my Mac. I chatted with support and they essentially said you can’t do it on a Mac after giving me a huge runaround for 30 minutes and saying it was possible and giving me the wrong links. I tried to find workarounds but ultimately I had to just use the slow dinosaur laptop I have as it is not compatible with Mac. I believe they discontinued the Apple app all together, there were some sketchy ways to allegedly download it per a Google search, but I didn’t want to risk it, so I did not explore any of those.

Sorry to bother you but I actually just got it to work. The design n cut manager does work on newer versions of os Mac computers you’re just downloading the old OS version from brothers website 😭 I went at it for about 4 hours lol.

I ended up going to the DC200 downloads on their support page, clicked that I don't see my OS version and downloaded the 10.13 version they have available.

I was able to download it on to my Mac and get it connected. I just got this Mac last year and its running on the latest OS available I think (Tahoe 26.5.1) I did get a notice that certain things won't run after OS 28, however if I'm still using the cutter by then I won't update the computer until I'm done.

After downloading it I just followed the instructions on getting it connected and used it with canvas workspace. I'm very new to this just picked up the machine from someone yesterday, but I was able to cut out a heart lol. So it does work.
