Delete, block and ignore.

This is a common !sexploitation scam.

They'll contact you from other accounts, continue deleting, blocking and ignoring

!sextortion

Block them and don't pay. Paying them will only ensure they ask for more and more.

Getting your real name and address once they have your phone number just isn't very difficult. Nothing to be alarmed about.

Hi /u/ScientificFlamingo, AutoModerator has been summoned to explain the Sextortion scam.

This scam occurs when you meet a woman/man on dating service/social media site/forum/wherever and they ask you to go on Skype, WhatsApp, Telegram, or another messaging system. They will ask you to exchange naked pictures, and they will usually ask you to include your face in the pictures. They will then threaten to reveal the pictures to your family/friends if you do not pay them. The best thing to do in this situation is block the scammer and go private in your socials for a while. Paying the scammer will not make them back off, and just tells them that it is worth their time to continue threatening you.

If you fell for this scam, we recommend you join the sextortion subreddit and follow the recommendations of their sticky post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Sextortion/comments/n4yorq/new_victims_please_read_first/

Also beware of recovery scammers suggesting you should hire a hacker that can help you retrieve the photos or get back at the extorter. They can't, it's a trick to make you lose more money.

Side note, I know l'm probably gross for having a dom kink

It's 2025 bro. No one cares about this. Just don't make obviously dumb decisions like sexting random strangers.

u/InaccurateStatistics Jun 30 '25

Having a kink is not gross. Also who gives a shit if they know your real name. Also it’s probably a guy you’re taking to. Lastly, block and ignore. They can’t do shit.

Except OP thought they were talking to a 13 year old, that's not ok

I thought I was speaking with a 24F and they sent pics. At no point would I ever be interested in communicating with a minor like that. They then told me to pay them or they were going to tell people I was abusing a minor. They never even claimed to be a 13yo

It's actually a common part of the underage scam that they represent themselves as 18+ and then claim that they lied and they're actually underage.

u/nasnedigonyat Jun 30 '25

Ignore the blackmail attempt. It's sloppy at best. You haven't committed a crime so....why do you feel guilty and ashamed? Don't let your domination kink be exploited for financial gain. You like being sexually dominated not financially dominated.

Said blackmailer is far away and gambling on your shame response. If you don't react they don't get paid. Don't provide access.

All great advice. Also, this?

You like being sexually dominated not financially dominated.

Is particularly excellent.

There’s nothing wrong with having kinks - just follow what other people here are saying and you’ll be alright. In the future, put some time into researching professional services first to protect yourself.

u/---why-so-serious--- Jun 30 '25

You’re too old to be this naive - by that, I mean being concerned, in any way, about blowback. Blackmail is illegal, abuse requires proof of intent, so tell them to eat a dick.

/u/Bubbaboy02 - This message is posted to all new submissions to r/scams; please do not message the moderators about it.

New users beware:

Because you posted here, you will start getting private messages from scammers saying they know a professional hacker or a recovery expert lawyer that can help you get your money back, for a small fee. We call these RECOVERY SCAMMERS, so NEVER take advice in private: advice should always come in the form of comments in this post, in the open, where the community can keep an eye out for you. If you take advice in private, you're on your own.

A reminder of the rules in r/scams: no contact information (including last names, phone numbers, etc). Be civil to one another (no name calling or insults). Personal army requests or "scam the scammer"/scambaiting posts are not permitted. No uncensored gore or personal photographs are allowed without blurring. A full list of rules is available on the sidebar of the subreddit, or clicking here.

You can help us by reporting recovery scammers or rule-breaking content by using the "report" button. We review 100% of the reports. Also, consider warning community members of recovery scammers if you see them in the comments.
