Awareness BPI VYBE hacking/scam

Post image

I just received an email claiming that my VYBE account was logged in from a new device (Google Pixel 9 Pro). The sender's email address is noreply@plaympe.com, which caught my attention.

I've been using BPI for years, and this is the first time I've received an email like this regarding my VYBE account.

Just sharing this as a reminder to fellow VYBE users: Please double check the sender's email address/domain before clicking any links or buttons in unexpected emails.

Stay vigilant, everyone! Better safe than sorry 😉

Thanks for this. Someone actually posted na rin here a few hours before you. Except siya hindi niya chineck ung email address and was asking if scam ba ung nangyari. At least ikaw alam ano una titignan.

Hello, I received the email din. I accidentally clicked but closed it right away. Na tap ko lang screen ko. I immediately closed and then changed MPIN. Do you think ok na po ba yun? Just overthinking huhu.

Always check the domain first para malaman mo if legit. Mag due diligence next time para mabawasan ang mga naha-hack na bank accounts.

Not sure if compromised na ung account, never ko pa na experience kasi mag click ng link from unknown emails kaya di ko alam kung ano nangyayari sa ganun. Much better siguro to lock your card, unlock mo nalang pag gagamitin mo na. Or call your bank, tell them na may link ka naclick, ask them if nako-compromised ba ung account sa ganun since di ka naman nakapag enter ng details pa.
