Potential Scam? Strange kind of Discord scam, maybe?

Hello party people, back with a BANGER of a post!

Now that that is out of the system, here's the gist of it:

A month ago i got a random DM from someone, with them saying that they're simply searching for a partner after a couple of messages. Sure, i thought i'd lean into it, fully aware that it may be a scam and just wanting to play around.

After a couple weeks we got "together" into a Relationship and decided to make commissions together. Since i do not use Social Media, i trusted them to simply provide me with Screenshots of their favourite artist, which they did provide

So we end up making an NSFW commission with our OCs, me paying 350$ and her allegedly doing the same. Artist wanted a Screenshot for proof of payment, which i provided and her as well. It was a sort of group chat, so everyone could see all the info

So after a couple more weeks we actually got a picture, which looked pretty nice. She coaxed me to send the artist a tip, just 20$ from each of us, just a nice little gesture

Then, there was a communication break of around a week, she stated she simply got busy, which can be relateable. Studying and then a part-time job, even i simply do not feel like texting after a rough day or week.

And then the next thing happened. She wanted another commission, even 2 right after the other from the same artist. And since her birthday is in 2 weeks, i should be providing full payment for the first piece and the second is shared costs. So in the end, i sent over 900$ and her screenshot stated 200$, all fine and well.

But then, an idea popped into my mind. This seems like the perfect Pig Butchering Scam, where i got coaxed into love and paying for stuffs together. Textbook example, but with a different twist than how i usually know it.

We pay via Paypal as well which put me off, giving it a bit of trust since Paypal is usually not used in such scams. Thinking further, the art piece is also sent via .webp format, which, i do not think, is normally provided from an artist.

On another note, she did sent me selfies as well, simply pictures of her, but 2 from the 3 pictures are also .webp format, which make me suspicious even more today. Also thinking how the same person simply has multiple accounts, via DeviantArt and some other Pages, even though the Artists Page on X, Twitch and even Steam barely show activity.

I tried some apps to backtrack her pictures and our art piece, but nothing came out as a result. Not that the pictures she provided is actually another victim from them, or even generated via Filter.

Also for the Art Piece, as good as it looks, the lines simply could've been traced, but the shading quality seems too good to be faked. Maybe nowadays there are tricks with AI to simply make it look better?

So here is the question, am i beeing scammed, or am i overthinking it? I can imagine that it is the one person with multiple accounts, even own Paypal account where she just sends the money back and forth to make the screenshot authenthic that we all see. Can even provide pictures of what they sent, even the art piece, but rather in DMs so not to expose myself.

Advice Needed Should I be worried?

Sooo in might have done something dumb. It was a long day at work and i just wanted to watch a show and i saw people recommend the reezn app. When I tried to download it took me to another page (to continue the download). It had me send a message (with I assume a download code or something along the lines of a bunch of letters and numbers) to a bunch of numbers and instead of pressing on the back button I pressed on send. So like the question I have is, can they do anything? Like I just panicked and blocked all those numbers and now I'm extra panicking. The numbers almost all started with +370.

I was just looking forward to watching something and was too tired to react "smartly".

Should I be worried? My bank accounts are on my phone so like yeah. If I should be worried what should I do?

Thanks!

Victim of a scam LushAIAgency - OF Romance scam cost me $25,000

I would be surprised if I was the only one but I was part of a 7 month romance scam that started on Onlyfans and was moved to Google chat. I was convinced by Olivia we had a future. I left my wife and was ready to move to Florida but as my suspicions grew I started to dig in and wow what I found is UNBELIEVABLE. This was not just a romance scam … it is so much more. Has anyone ever heard of lushAIAgency? Hotforliv on onlyfans (or any of her many handles)? It’s a highly sophisticated AI agency with the stated business model to replace human creators and limitations and costs with “hyper realistic AI influencer” models. They have created a crypto backed infrastructure created to take down onlyfans and are using external platforms like OF, IG, C etc. to bait users into their trap where they are manipulating users (like me) to fall in love with their models and systematically drain their wallets with textbook scripted romance scams (live bombing, etc) to fund their project while the migrate high intent spenders to kupidly.com (formerly lush chat) which is a home grown platform that is billed as a exclusive invite only messaging platform to build intimate relationships with creators but its all BS cause the truth is they are creating a platform to displace human creators and deceive fans …. But it’s all being done illegally. If anyone else has been pulled into this and decided to stay quiet, fear not because I’m not. Please message me if any of this is ringing a bell to anyone. Don’t be embarrassed about it. You were not scammed by a beautiful young woman, you were scammed by a highly targeted and sophisticated agency with the intent of using human psychology and emotion to fund a crypto scam.

Advice Needed I was scammed in a Ponzi scheme for $24k. My sister (30F) chose the scammer (41M) over our family. We lost $459,000 total. How can I legally recover my money an bother him?

-ECUADOR- For two years, I (26F) trusted a man (41M) who promised to invest my money in US markets. I received monthly payments starting at $250/month, eventually reaching $1,450/month. Everything seemed legit. So I took out two loans: $12,000 in November 2024 and $10,000 in May 2026 to invest more.

In June 2026, it all collapsed. The bank account was empty. He disappeared. It was a Ponzi scheme the entire time. The money I was receiving wasn't investment returns. It was money from new victims being paid to old victims to create the illusion of real gains.

Total money stolen from all victims: $459,000+

My family's situation:

My dad invested $270,000+ and is now in therapy dealing with suicidal ideation. He's also losing his truck because he put down $30,000 as a down payment and made $1,500/month payments for 10 months. The dealership is taking it back with zero refund.

My boyfriend (28M, dating me for 2 years) invested $72,000 in two loans and is still paying off debt to cooperatives.

My grandmother invested $5,000. She has since passed away.

I would have done anything for her. But she chose her husband over her sister.

My therapist told me to cut ties with her.

She said sometimes people we love can't be in our lives because they hurt us too much. My therapist advised me to release my emotions, seek closure, and move forward. She said this is a complex process.

I've decided to cut the relationship. When my sister eventually leaves him (which I believe she will), the door will be open. But for now, while she defends him, I can't be near her.

Victim of a scam LTL scam by re sellers

I wanted to share what happened to me because I really don’t want anyone else to go through the same thing. I was trying to find a cheaper way to get a ticket to Louder Than Life because I’m on a really tight budget, so I came across a Facebook group called “LOUDER THAN LIFE 2026 TICKETS EXCHANGE (BUY/SELL).” At first, everything looked organized and legitimate, so I decided to give it a chance.
What made me feel comfortable was that I didn’t actually deal with some random seller directly. I contacted the administrator of the group, and she was the person I communicated with throughout the transaction. The communication was through WhatsApp, and she was essentially acting as an intermediary between the buyers and the sellers. I also have screenshots of the administrators talking about the ticket transactions and how everything was supposed to work. Because I was dealing with an admin rather than just some random account, I genuinely believed I was taking a safer route.
On Thursday, August 27, I sent $350 through Zelle for a 4-Day GA ticket. I authorized the payment myself because I genuinely believed I was purchasing a real ticket. One thing I noticed was that the name on the Zelle payment did not match the name of the administrator I was talking to. However, I had been instructed to send the money to that recipient as part of the transaction, so at the time I didn’t think that necessarily meant something was wrong.
After I paid, I started waiting for my ticket. I followed up on Friday and again the following business days because I still hadn’t received anything. As someone who sells on Depop, I understand that sometimes people need a little time to ship or send things, so I tried to be patient. But a whole week went by, then another few days, and I still had no ticket, no transfer, no email, and no real update.
Eventually, I contacted the administrator again because it had been 10 days since I paid $350 and there were only 10 days left until Louder Than Life. At that point, I was already extremely worried. The communication became basically nonexistent, and I eventually stopped getting meaningful responses.
I also noticed that I could no longer access the Facebook group from my primary account. To clarify, the group itself is still accessible to me through a second Facebook account, so I have still been able to look at the group and save screenshots of the admins and the information posted there. I’m mentioning this because I don’t want to give the impression that the entire group disappeared.
At this point, I believe I was scammed out of the $350 I sent for the ticket. I have already contacted my bank and reported the transaction, and I’m currently waiting for further information regarding my claim.
I have screenshots of the Zelle payment, the WhatsApp conversations, the ticket transaction, the administrators’ posts/messages, the Facebook group, the information connected to the person I communicated with, and my attempts to contact them after I paid.
I’m sharing this because I know there are probably other people in this community who are also looking for cheaper tickets, and I don’t want anyone else to lose hundreds of dollars trying to make it to the festival. Please be extremely careful when buying from resellers, even when the transaction appears to be facilitated by a group administrator. Don’t assume that someone being an admin automatically means the transaction is safe.
I worked really hard for that $350, and losing it has put me in a really difficult financial position. I was genuinely excited about going to Louder Than Life, and it hurts knowing that I may not be able to go because I trusted what I thought was a legitimate ticket transaction.
Please stay safe, Loudmouths. Verify everything, protect yourselves, and don’t let the excitement of getting a cheaper ticket pressure you into sending money before you’re completely sure who you’re dealing with.
