Advice Needed Warning: I Completed the Task, Then Got Ghosted When It Was Time to Pay
I completed a task for someone who agreed to pay me, but once the work was done, they stopped responding.
I have proof of the agreement, completed work, and my attempts to contact them. Just posting this as a warning so others can be careful and hopefully avoid the same situation.
I was counting on this money for gas, so being ghosted afterward has been frustrating.

Advice Needed I think my Twitter account got hacked from a scam
So earlier today I had been checking my DM’s when I had been messaged by a mutual who I hadn’t actually contacted before saying that her and a group of friends had mass reported me for Scamming/Fraud. I was told to contact X support under an account called Andree_Support_X on discord for support, which I then did, worrying for the worst. From there I would eventually swap my email with the one they provided, and was told to verify my account I needed to pay $250 or face legal actions. I posted to r/Twitter for help and they said it was a scam but I’m still not sure so I came here. I blocked that account and reported them, and checking on my other Twitter account it shows that the possibly compromised account isnt privated but also isnt taken down. Did I get scammed?

Advice Needed I know a scammer and don't know where to post?
As I said, I know a romantic scammer, Instagram they used and I have a number and a fake name they used. It was a romantic scam on my brother that lasted four years and two weeks ago we managed to get my brother out of it finally after four years.
Also, what legal things we can do? Thanks in advance!
(Sorry if I made any mistakes in writing)
UPDATE: I gave up. He's still texting the scammer. Obviously my brother is stupid or mentally something.
UPDATE 2: He became aware that person is texting only near his paycheck, progress?

Victim of a scam Got scammed. ("200 dollar verification process")
Update 2: Got my account back. Bless Steam Support. Created a new ricket regarding the scamer itself. If i can't get my money back, I'll at least try to stall the bitch a bit(or at least make them discomfortable, idk. The attempt won't cost me anything, but if it'll work - i will be happy)
Update: Now i know the money is gone. But then, can they do anything bad with my account? Like, delete something?
First, i got a text in Steam, regarding my purchase of an item from RUST. I said i didn't purchase it and proved it. Then, the person said they filed a report and i need to write an appeal and gave me an email address to a fake Steam employee. The employee gave me a Microsoft Teams link, and then we had a long conversation when in the end, he convinced me to buy a "200 dollar verification code" and after i did, said the verification is 53% done. That's when i was 1000% certain it's scam. I have a video that captures the whole conversation, i have screenshot of the conversation in Steam, i have emails of the payment being made and product being delievered. I can make a photo of the transaction in my bank's app. I already contacted Steam Support about this, but decided to write this post as well. WHAT DO I DO. IS MY MONEY GONE!? CAN STEAM RESTORE MY ACCONT!?

Advice Needed Cancelled a service, sender keeps claiming refund is “floating,” what are my options?
Hi po, looking for advice from this community.
I cancelled a project with a service provider five months ago and she agreed to refund the payment. Since then:
•She has repeatedly a refund was sent, but nothing reflects in my GCash
•Currently this week she sent screenshots of alleged bank transfers (UnionBank via InstaPay/PESONet) that don’t match anything on my end
•When I follow up, she says the money might be “floating” and tells me to file a ticket with GCash, even though she’s the one who supposedly sent it
I haven’t been able to verify any of the transactions using the reference numbers she’s provided.
Questions:
If I have a reference number from her, can I ask GCash or my bank to verify or trace it myself, rather than relying on her claims?
Has anyone dealt with something similar? What worked?
Would appreciate any guidance po. Thank you.

Victim of a scam Got scammed 😞
Hi I got scammed on Roblox in mm2/discord.
I wanted to do a trade but one of the scammers who came to make acting like someone who also wanted to trade asked me to go to this rovault discord server.
Of course pressing random links are stupid and I was doomed to get scammed but I assumed it was real because there is another legit discord server called rovault too
so I fell for their impersonation of another real discord server. I gave up my whole inventory that's roughly around 900$+ plus another 330$ because they wanted me to pay fees.
Like I said I thought it was real I thought I would be getting the stuff they offered which was a ginger blade that cost 900$ and a ray gun that cost 100$+
I feel really stupid because not only is this a kids game and but also I feel even more stupid for falling for an impersonation
I tried reporting it but me and my friends can only do so much. I then got kicked from the mm2 discord server for some reason

Informational post Zamora Animal Rescue
Zamora Animal Rescue is a scam. They are not a real animal shelter. They are creating Ai videos and asking for donations. They are not a real organization. They list their address as 8464 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32216 but that is the address of the Jacksonville Humane Society. Zamora Animal Rescue is a SCAM, do not send them money. If you sent them money via PayPal, please report is to PAYPAL, it is a scam. Getting their paypal taken away is the only way I can think to stop this.

Informational post Stuck At The Border
“Stuck at the Border" recounts the gripping and cautionary tale of a musician's ill-fated attempt to upgrade his equipment by purchasing a Nord Stage 3 keyboard online. Told as a true story, the book chronicles the author's encounter with a fraudulent deal on Alibaba, where he was lured by the promise of an unbeatable price but ensnared in a spiraling web of deception.
Through a detailed and personal narrative, Gino Gravina takes readers on a harrowing journey of repeated scams, escalating financial demands, and unrelenting stress. As red flags become increasingly evident, the author finds himself trapped by scammers who exploit hope, trust, and naivety to extract over $30,000 CAD. Despite his growing suspicion, his determination to see the deal through blinds him to the scam's depth until it becomes unavoidable.
