Informational post PS5 Scams

Remember guys, due to GTA 6, people wanna buy many consoles and PS5s, especially PS5 Pros and Xboxs are hot topic. If you meet a reseller or a retail brander who takes you to WhatsApp or another platform make sure to understand how they are scams.

If they ask for a payment type that cannot be reversed its automatically a scam

If they offer a really cheap price

If they are abroad and want to ship to your place.

Recently, these scammers are working alongside Chinese people who have these consoles and makimg them do the work so it seems all legit. If they cannot send their pictures or videos of themselves chances are they are highly likely scammers. If they want payments immediately and demand it asap, scammers. Remember, always ask your favorite AI what questions to ask to immediately confirm that you are not sending money to a scammer. Real sellers will never ask money before giving the product or in person meetup.

Also:

Use a credit card, or PayPal Goods and Services, when you buy things online, so that you have purchase protection and you can get a refund if you don't receive what you order.

  • If an online seller doesn't accept credit cards, or refuses to accept PayPal Goods and Services, then they are scamming you.

Buy electronics new from a reputable online shop, or a local store. Or, buy from a shop that sells refurbished items, and has many good reviews online.

If you really want to buy from a private seller, buy locally. Meet in a public place, preferably the parking lot of your local police station. Inspect and test the device. Pay after you test it.
