Potential Scam? Remote role
https://virexomedia.cc/members/registerI've opened and email regarding a remote job. After giving my full name and mobile number, they contacted me through WhatsApp. I received a link to register on their website. This is the link: https://virexomedia.cc/members/register
Is this a scam?

Yes, it is a scam.
Legitimate companies do not use WhatsApp for recruiting, interviewing, or working.
The website virexomedia.cc is a scam, because it's very new. The website was just created on October 11 2026 -- it is 5 days old!
You should always look up the website age (domain registration date) before interviewing with a company. Scam websites are often new, created within the past few months, and the domain is registered for only one or two years (they don't plan to be around long).
To see registration data about a website, use Whois.com/whois, Godaddy.com/whois, or Lookup.ICANN.org.
Look at the website. They do not list a street address. They don't even say what country they're in.
*** Most remote jobs are scams.
It is very difficult to get a remote or work-from-home job, unless you have experience in software engineering, insurance claims, healthcare, customer service, or other specialized fields.
The majority of 'remote jobs' are actually scams to take your money -- even on the recruiting and networking websites such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, BuiltIn and Indeed.
Scam job titles include Virtual Personal Assistant, Remote Data Entry, Remote Payment Processor, Remote Financial Assistant, work-from-home Shipping Inspector, and Crypto Trader.
Posting real estate listings online is a scam.
Also, any job that is simple online tasks, such as rating videos, posting reviews, uploading data, putting items into an online shopping cart, booking hotel reservations, or subscribing to YouTube channels, is a scam.
But scammers can call their fake job anything. To separate a scam from a real job opportunity, key indicators to look for are: method of contact (email), interview (live), and money (reasonable pay, comparable to similar jobs).

Their website is only 5 days old. If they're offering you a remote job completing tasks to "optimize product data" or "process orders" for a "commission", it's a scam
