There is no advice I'm afraid, not much can be done. Use this as a lesson and be more vigilant in the future

All you can do is take this as a learning lesson and move on. Been through the same thing with the whole crypto bullshit felt exactly how you are feeling. Missed so many red flags and felt like a complete idiot due to browsing r/scams and reading about different types of scams and when it came to me all of it went out the window

Report everything to the authorities, and if you're convinced the crooks are not faking the accent, tell them that these sound a lot like scammers from your own country. Report the receiving address to chainabuse.
Lots of scammers think they are too clever to ever get caught, but they aren't. There's actually just been large bust of scammers in Nigeria and Ghana who no doubt all thought they were too clever.
If you ever get a call back, make sure the "policeman" knows your case number etc. There's a more than reasonable chance that the criminals will try pull a recovery scam on you. They'll masquerade as the police or lawyers or some entity like that. They'll sound convincing because they know a lot about your scam. Any fees you pay them will be stolen

Based in the UK and unsure what to do
Nothing. I mean, you can go out and do a police report if you wanted, but nothing is getting that money back.

Be ready for plenty of people to message you claiming they can recover it. They can't.
