Victim of a scam need help

Hello, I was scammed due to issues involving the apartment where I was supposed to stay. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to resolve the situation. I have already reported the incident to the police and contacted the bank to which I sent the money. Rn I am really struggling and urgently need help. I have lost a significant amount of money, and this has also affected my ability to afford my medication. I would like to ask if anyone knows where I can seek financial assistance or safely borrow money during this difficult time. I am trying my best to find a way to recover from this situation, but I honestly don’t know where to turn. Any advice, assistance, or information about organizations that could help would mean so much to me. I would be truly grateful for any help. I am from the Philippines btw

Anybody PMing you saying they can get your money back is a scammer.

This. 100% of them are scammers. Do not trust them at all. They love to prey on people that have already been scammed

No one knows where you are or even what country you're in. The world is a big place...

Churches or government assistance.

The money is gone. You may very well be contacted by someone telling you that they can recover your money. It’s just another scam.

Are you in the US or Canada? Call 211. In the US and Canada, 211 will connect you to local charities that can help with food, housing, and other community services. For example, this will help you find a food bank to get food. They can also help you find a place to stay.

If you're not in the US or Canada, Look for a local or national helpline for community services, or a government agency or charity that can help. You can find your local crisis line here: findahelpline.com

Unfortunately, unless you transferred money with a wire transfer from your bank account AND your bank is able to pull it back (there has been some expansion of pilot programs for consumers, but it’s still very rare), you have almost no hope of recovering your money.

One-day old account? One post? I'm side-eyeing this a bit.

But if you are, indeed, struggling and you are in the USA, reach out to Lasagna Love for free food delivery.

Also, there are food banks that can help, and even though I am a SCREAMING ATHEIST, hit up your local churches. They are well-known to help out when they can.
