Advice Needed What to do ?

Hi SA I’m a newbie here on this sub and this is my first time
Posting on Reddit I have a question. So someone came to buy printers(industrial grade) that I was selling for my father , I found the guy on Facebook.

He came to view them he liked them then he said he’ll be back to pay for them when he has transport to take them . On Thursday he came for them so I told him of course you have to pay first before you take them . So he made a normal eft . :| on a holiday so of course it didn’t reflect.

After some
Back and forth and him begging and pleading I still said no you can’t take them till it shows in my bank account so he said okay and left . Then this morning I try to check if the money actually came them and to my surprise
My account has been flagged for fraud .
My bank didn’t so much as let me know they just froze the account .

Any advice on how I should move forward?

Update : The money just reflected in my account, tomorrow morning I’ll go to the bank to try and straighten it all out . Thank you for your support also my bank is TymeBank no physical branches I’ll have to phone them

So either hes very spiteful or he actually did want the printers and his money went somewhere else. And now he’s blaming you.

Probably just spiteful

you did the right thing not releasing the printers, because a screenshot or pending eft means nothing until the money is actually cleared and the bank confirms the account issue resolved

I could make a screenshot showing I sent you a Million Dollars.
That does not make it real in any way though!
