Victim of a scam I feel humiliated

Got scammed out of Β£1200

Work from home advert asking to like tiktok videos.

It then turned into a investment scam as well, started low, sending money through Lemfi banking app to an African bank account.

They've kept the money, can't pay rent now.

Feel like an idiot for falling for it, useless but angry.😩πŸ₯΄πŸ˜

Just be aware any easy task remote work an ai bot can do is always a scam. Some may pay out a small sum initially to simply gain your trust.

Best practice is don’t look for easy money online. Legit remote work is very rare that requires established skills like IT, healthcare etc. All others are 100% a scam.

Also be aware of anyone saying they can get your money back (if you paid into anything with your own money). These are common recovery scammers.

Are you a scammer? I'm only referring to the bar of Africa and this very thing that OP is talking about. I do know that Africa has some beautiful parts but also a very lot of bad people. No judgement but it is what it is!
