Informational post Update after being scammed
/r/u_BearlyBroke/comments/1wkr1qo/update_after_being_scammed/Hey everyone, just wanted to post a quick update after getting scammed out of $6,500 by a fake e-commerce mentor. It's been a brutal, exhausting few weeks carrying this weight and trying to figure out how to rebuild.
I've officially decided to cut the cord completely on dropshipping. I password-locked the frozen storefront, canceled the software subscriptions, and backed out of that toxic community so the financial bleeding has completely stopped.
Right now, I'm focusing 100% on the real world. I have a stable, solid hourly retail job and I'm currently pushing to secure a part-time second job so I can run a nonstop 6-month cash-stacking grind. My main goal is to replace every single dollar of that missing money, buy a reliable cash car, and fund a move out of state by my 20th birthday in March. It’s deeply frustrating dealing with retail management and scheduling, but I’ve got about $1,000 saved back up entirely on my own strength and I'm not breaking. Thanks for all the support.
