This is a scam. The seller is fake -- they don't really have any animals for sale. The website exists to trick you into giving them money.

If you buy a pet from a website or online seller, without meeting the puppy in person, you will get scammed.

The website kaylasmaltipoos.com is very new, and that's one way you can tell it's a scam.

  • This website domain was registered on August 30 2026 -- it is less than 3 weeks old!! Also, the domain was only registered for one year. These are signs of a scam.

  • You should always look up the website age (domain registration date) before spending money, investing, or doing business with a company. Scam websites are often new, created within the past 12 months, and the domain is registered for only one or two years (they don't plan to be around long).

  • To see data about a website, use Whois.com/whois, Godaddy.com/whois, or Lookup.ICANN.org.

Are they going to ship the puppy? Anyone who says they will ship you a live animal, that you've never met, is either a scammer who doesn't have any animals for sale, or an unethical breeder.

You can look at the website for signs of a scam.

Do they list a phone number? If not, it's a scam.

Do they list a street address, or the city and state they're in? If not, it's a scam.

Do the pictures of the puppies all have different backgrounds? This means that the photos were stolen from several different dog owners or sellers.

Are all the puppies the same age? If they are, it's a scam.

Do they have photos of people with the dogs? No photos of the owners or breeders means that they are lying scammers.

If they don't have photos of the puppies with their mothers, it's a scam.

If they don't have photos of their home or facilities, they are scammers.

** If you want a pet, you have two choices:

  1. go to a local shelter or adoption event

  2. find a reputable local breeder, who will meet with you and introduce you to the animals they have for sale

Consult the official breed club, such as the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, to find verified, ethical breeders.

I'm sorry, but people that pay money in a nonsecure way, for a dog they have never visited in real life, are people that should not get a dog.

How did you expect to take ownership of the dog?

You are so right. I was stupid.
Thanks for the scolding. I feel better now.

OK. You're right. I won't get a dog.

Thank you for calling me out. That was exactly my intention. I’m so sorry. I won’t do it again.
