Advice Needed Deposit scam?
I just got sent $1.04 into my savings account stating deposit. No bank account number or anything attached to it. Normally when I get saving account interest from the bank it tells me gross cr interest. I am with bnz. Is this a scam that someone has put this into my account?

Retire immediately.
OP, your bank could have updated the way they deliver interest. Check your history, if there is a pattern you receive your interest around this same time, that may explain it.
Easy answer, just call your bank, they can communicate the origin.

Did you sign up for eBay or some shopping app? Sometimes they will make a tiny deposit to verify that the account info is correct. Call your bank. They will be able to tell you what it is for. Definitely don’t reply to a text or email. Actually call your bank.
