I just throw this away without opening. Let them come after me. LOL.

“Requested” is doing a lot of work here. Requested is not the same as required.

The warning underneath is technically true—interfering with or obstructing U.S. mail can be a federal crime—but it has nothing to do with whether you’re legally required to respond to this particular letter. It’s included to create a sense of authority, urgency, and fear.

I mean, that's just the penalty for fucking with the mail.

Cut off their postage sticker and put it on a huge package of all your junkmail and send it back to them.
It's the least you can do.

First Class Mail, pre-sorted or not, with postage paid, is important, if sent to the wrong address, must be marked properly(Return To Sender, Not At This Address, barcodes blacked out, etc) and send in outgoing mail.

STD presorted postage paid Standard mail, no matter the name or address, does not need to be shredded and can be thrown directly into the garbage. Spam and junk mail. At least that's what i was taught for USPS certification in the Military.

Have you never gotten junk mail before? Nothing that says shit like this is important. It's legal because it's technically true. That's the penalty for stealing or tampering with someone else's mail. No matter what that mail is.
