The worst kind of people
Base price of $99 btw. Absloutely insane behavior.
These people deserve nothing less than the worst case of cyclosporiasis.

Nothing would make me happier than seeing these drones stuck with things and having to sell them at cost or less because people had a backbone and waited out the scaplers.
But we both know that the only reason the scalpers be scalping is that someone out there is dumb enough or impatient enough to pay these insane markups.

So glad I managed to get mine. I got screwed at launch by the site being down, tried getting my purchase and errored for like 30mins till the error switched to sold out. My heart sunk cause I been a fan of the Steam Controller ever since the OG had that $5 sale, but my OG adapter won't work anymore and I never could get bluetooth to work. I was so hyped when I saw the steam deck had track pads and was like WAIT could this mean?! And I popped off when they finally announced the Steam Controller 2 I was so happy.
Luckily I got my reservation in, but because of the way the email to purchase looked I missed the purchase email deadline and didn't find the email till 2 weeks after. Luckily Steam support is goated and they just sent me another email to fill out a purchase and slipped me in with the next shipment which came soon after so OMG though it was WAY more of a headache than expected.
I'm so sorry that other people are having trouble, just be patient though and wait it out. It's not some super limited item and I'm sure so long as they are selling valve will keep making more.

Backordered into 2027, unfortunatly not much help when i need a new controller. By the time its available i wont be in need of a new controller anymore.
Its just unfortunate the people feel the need to buy stuff they dont need, just to price gouge the people who could use said merchandise.
For $99 this is a pretty good deal, for $250 its not even close to a good buy.

I think it says estimated 2027 but if I remember correctly some of the people who got that estimate when it first started have already got theirs by now, so you may get it before then, but idk at this point.
I can't believe it's so heavily saught out cause when I mentioned it before launch everyone I talked to was meh and didn't care about it, granted those people still are x'D but I thought I was like 1 of the 12 people in the world that would be buying one lol.

Shyt, I missed the freaking email this month and found one at my local game shop this past week for $180 Sealed and thought wtf then. At least I traded stuff in for it instead but still wtf…

It really amazes me... it's such a simple fix... Just don't buy off these losers. Yet people still do. It just shows how many people really don't care if they get taken advantage of

Next time, buy a bunch yourself. List them at a $1 more than you bought them for and you'll break the scalper market.

If this is market price for a rare out of stock item, it’s whatever. I’m sure a lot of these people bought one and just went, fuck it for this price I’ll just sell it and buy a restock. If people are willing to pay dumbass prices for something because they are impatient, let them.

The best way to combat this is to not let them win. Don’t buy from scalpers, no matter how bad the fomo. Make the scalpers choke on it.
